is my baby just greedy?

hi ladies

since we started to FF LO we gave her Aptimal. she ended up drinking 14oz a time.

we have now switched to hungry baby, but she still drinks 7oz+ every 3-4 hours.

is this too much for a 2 and a half month old?

are you giving that much because LO is crying for more if you dont or because she will take it if you offer it?

nope never sick, and it was most feeds till we switched

crikey thats quite some appetite. Guess the best person to ask would be your health visitor. Have you tried offering water instead of feed incase its a comfort thing?

aptamil is a very thin feed. You could perhaps try cow and gate or sma and see if she will take a smaller amount? My cousin gave her baby aptamil but he was never full, she switched to cow and gate and he was fine x

14oz!! bloody hell libby only takes 4 -6 and she isnt far behind you ... that doesnt sound right, whats her weight gain like? where u breastfeeding? maybe as bottles are easier to get she isnt feeling full before she is if that makes sense? but then if she isnt sick.... ???x

Haha yeah, they were born on the same day

She was 7lb when born, she's now 9lb8

libby was 6lb 115oz and is now a chubba 11lbs 5oz hehe im also a cosleeping, babywearning, ff baby mama as bfing was unsuccessful ,she is following 50th percentile xx
