Can you believe they have the nerve to say they're living paycheck to paycheck of 174k a year and that they deserve a pay raise because they're being shot at?

It is the politicians that are making that and are giving themselves pay raises while the military is suffering and getting nothing, if they are so desperate to make cuts then they need to start with themselves because THEY are WAY overpaid. That is where this complaint is. Military does not get paid 174k a year except the highest of the highest ranked of the military and no you don't find them saying they live pay check to pay check. a majority of them barely break 40k if they are lucky. And location is NOT taken into account.
