I recently changed to staydown milk and think that it coincides with when my son started being funny with his bottles. He sometimes doesn't want them at all, especially his morning one (even without a night feed) but mostly he will drink 4oz and then stop/scream. He used to drink 5 or 6oz.

Could the new milk be filling him up more? I'd only just got him drinking more as well! I was worried before because he was only having 4oz, and now he is back to that, but without a night feed so is having even less.

Should I change back to c & g formula? I am reluctant to do so incase that isn't the answer and then will want to change back to staydown again and fear I will be doing more harm than good.

Yes it's normal hun, DS was the same, he never went for more than 4 oz at your LO's age, he was on anti reflux formula since he was 6 weeks. Did you change the teat size when you switched? Dr. Browns bottles with size 3 teats are perfect for babies with reflux. Omar was taking 18-20 oz at your Lo's age. His max was 24 oz at 4 months & he never took more than that. He's a big baby & it never affected his weight gain. xx

Ive just tried lo on this, and she had 4oz and is flat out lol.

Another advise ladies, try to feed your LOs with no distractions, & feed them upright. If they move alot while feeding, try to feed them on a pillow on your bed or sofa to elevate their upper body & move the bottle while they'r moving they head around. xxx

nmwb78, thank you so much, you always reply to my threads with great advice about feeding. Thank you xxx
