Is there a best time to test?

I've never TTC before or used ovulation tests so it's all new to me.

Is there a best time to do ovulation tests where they may be more accurate or does it not matter?

I've read it's mid afternoon for ovulation predictors. Ideally you want to test around the same time every day.

Yes ideally mid afternoon but if that's not possible any time after 10am. However I have always been fine testing at any time of the day as long as it's not first thing. I guess it depends how long your surge is - I usually get positives for 2 days but I know some people only surge for a couple of hours

I've heard afternoon as well. I test twice a day usually but honestly I have got my pos surge first thing in the morning as well as afternoon.
