Is there a section for those who gave up?

We are slowly reaching the point where we might give up TTC all together and accept the fact that we might not have children. Adoption is not for us and isn't really an option for various reasons.
This is a very difficult thing for us.

I am wondering if I just didn't find it, is there a forum for "child free not by choice" people? I'd like to talk to people who are in a similar situation.

I don't think there is one, but im sure the ladies in the adoption thread would be able to relate to you and chat. Even though you aren't relating to the whole adoption part, they will still understand what you are going through. Even try the LTTTC boards, as they have been struggling with TTC for a long time. You would be able to find women in the same boat there too.

Sending you a little extra love! <3

Hi,

This has been considered in the past and unfortunately we don't feel the section you suggest would be used for various reasons and previous feedback we've had. Babycleo has made some great suggestions.

Sorry for the answer you weren't looking for <3

I was kind of hoping for something like that as well. I don't feel like I truly belong in any particular section anymore since we have moved on. I feel a little (lot) lost now that we are no longer pursuing our dreams of parenthood. I understand though.

Don't give up, just don't let it consume you. Try to keep a positive attitude and enjoy all the other amazing things life has to offer without letting your happiness and fulfilment depend on this one thing. I'm not trying to diminish your feelings at all, I know I would be feeling just as gutted as you, it just makes me sad to see someone feel like they've completely lost hope. Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't. Plus, our bodies aren't the boss of us, there are always other options out there. Good luck :)

I know it's not on here but have a little look at The Dovecote www.thedovecote.org, the woman, Kelly, who set it up is lovely and is going through involuntary childlessness too
