..... to get rid of the 'teenage parent' label?!!?
I am NOT a tin of beans, I am a MOTHER! grrrrrrr :gun:

I'm a tin of beans :headspin: There's always gonna be people who judge, whatever you do in life, teen parent or not, fuck em!

i dont understand lol :flow:

Ohhh i see.. i dont really care tbh, most people think im older than sixteen anyway, but i hate the stares i get walking out of school with Riley. Sometimes i think 'what must people think of me?' but im fed up of proving myself to everyone! Like Anna said, fuck em.. i hate people that sit there and judge yet they havent actaully been in our position!:flow:

Don't tell people your age, honestly most people think im like 24-25 my OH forgets I'm only 19. I honestly dont think its anyone's business how old I am.

Honestly, no. I think if you look young and have a child, people will ultimately put you in that section. But being labelled it doesn't necessarily mean anything. There are teenage mums, young mums, older mums, it's kind of normal for people to pop people into groups these days.

The teen mum label honestly doesn't bother me, or hasn't bothered me, in fact I've been proud to be in the 'teen mum' group and be a GOOD mum, prooving the stereotypical view of teenage mums, to not be true. Just me though :)

Anna doesn't mean to literally fuck them. Just had to make that point clear. You know us teen mom's, always trying to get a leg over!:sex:

Agreed! Who cares what people think? We're all wonderful parents regardless of age so screw whatever they say!

Exactly how I feel! Who cares what people think! As long as you're happy..

I have found that if I smile at people who are stsring they'll usually smile back and lose the judgmental look.

If I spent my entire life worrying about what people think of me then I would be one miserable person :haha: You just have to try & not let it get to you ... prove everyone's ignorant judgements wrong :flower:

I do try, it just annoys me so much!! I want to prove myself to people but it doesn't seem to get me very far, sometimes it makes me feel like I should just be the stereotype (obviously I would never go there!) but you get what I mean!! Baaaaaahhhh!

What you just said made me feel so good:thumbup::haha:

its funny because when I was like 12 and walking around the shops with my baby nephew in a pram people thought he was mine but now when I actually am a mum they think my baby is my brother :S

Don't think we will ever shake it off, but I dont mind being 25-30 and been called a young mum, I'll be like

Also my MW was asking me questions the other day and she said How old are you? so I told her 19 and she said that to be classed as a teen pregnancy/ parent the person has to be under the age of 19. :)
