I'm sorry if this is a ridiculous question, but if you miscarry will there always be bleeding? I'm almost 5 week pregnant with our first (and it happened on our first try!) and I feel AMAZING! And that's why I'm worried! From about 8-14 dpo I had spotting, af-like cramps, exhausted, headaches, nausea. But for the last week or so that has all gone away and I feel great! Energy is super high (been walking/running with the dog for 12 km every day and swimming an hour every day) and I've been in an incredibly good mood. I though I was supposed to be feeling much worse than this, which is making me worry that the baby is ..... gone. I've had no bleeding at all (except for some spotting about 9 dpo before I got my bfp). The only pregnancy symptom I have is sore nipples, but even that isn't really that bad.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I've just never done this before so I don't know what to expect! Both of my sisters were miserable and sick for all of their pregnancies so I thought I would suffer like they did!

Not always, there is something called a missed miscarriage, but you are so early, give it a couple of Weeks ;)

It's not a stupid question. I was wondering the same thing earlier this week as some of my symptoms had not been present for a few days. I have not had a mc but from what I read it seems like not always does bleeding/spoting mean mc, but if it's quite a bit and bright red/clots then you may want to contact your doc for an early apt. Maybe take another test just to see that you still are producing hcg? Best of luck.

I had a missed miscarriage that I didn't know about til I was 14 weeks along, the baby stopped growing at 8. I seriously felt pregnant the whole time. The figured my body would have naturally miscarried after 6 weeks like that but it wasn't happening :(

I had a missed miscarriage and had no bleeding or any signs anything was wrong. Chose to have a D&C at 9 weeks as my body wasn't recognizing the miscarriage.

Unless it's a missed miscarriage, typical pregnancy almost always end with bleeding. That's how your body would expel the baby...If you are feeling great I wouldn't worry too much
I had a chemical before and it was horribly painful kind of like contractions.

I didn't really have any symptoms until around 7 weeks, I suddenly got extremely tired and emotional. I'm sure everything is fine! Try not to stress and just take it day by day!

No with a missed miscarriage your body holds onto the embryo even if its passed on/ not growing and it won't be detected until next ultrasound. Happened to a friend of mine last week she was 11 weeks and they said baby stopped growing at 6

I had a missed miscarriage. Found out at 9 weeks that the baby had stopped growing at 7. I didn't have bleeding. My symptoms were really strong-from 7 weeks I got really bad sickness. The nurse said it was probably my body giving it extra hormones because it knew the baby wasn't right.
This time I didn't really have symptoms until 8 weeks and even then they have been pretty mild. Bit of sickness, not really tired, boobs a bit sore. Saw my baby on scan last week and all looks good.
Try not to worry too much x

I felt fine that early on in pregnacy - make the most of it! Around 7 weeks I started feeling awful. :flower:

My symptoms came on at 7 weeks, until then I felt great...!

Missed miscarriages do occur, however, your chances are better for a healthy pregnancy.

With my blighted ovum it never turned into a baby and at 9 weeks I had to have assistance to have a miscarriage as my body continued to think I was pregnant.

Now on to this pregnancy hoping we are moving along as we saw a heart beat at both 7 & 8 weeks.

you are SO early on. Wait till about 7/8 weeks, you will start to see signs of pregnancy then!

Yes i forgot to add my doctor said a MMC is only 2% of all MISCARRIAGES. Which means it's a very small number for all pregnancies. I didn't feel anything til I got morning sickness at 6 weeks. And other than that, my first trimester was a breeze! I feel more pregnant now than I did my first trimester lol
