Who hasnt got their kids many presents? Or am I the only one

Chloe and Jaycee only have like 5 each lol.

I dont feel bad that they only have that many because there is also my mum and dad, OH mum and dad, my sister, my broher, aunties and uncles, OH sister. They will have lots anyway.

No, me too! I was just reading the other thread and was like OMG! My girls have about 10 each and i think that is plenty. I got them what they asked for and afew extra bits each.

it really doesnt matter just buy what you can afford ive not finished los yet if it was up to his dad he would have millions but im in charge so he wont lol x

Its not what I can afford. I can afford whatever they wanted its just that I dont want to waste buying them stuff they wont play with so I stuck with what I know they will like. Just wanted to know if there was anyone else out there because it seemed like everyone had got their children 40+ presents.

You're not alone. We really cut down this year. He gets spolit rotten by everyone else. We'll have no room for anything soon.

I've got Kacie 5 and then her stocking full of stuff I'd be buying anyway (new toothbrush, cutlery etc).

My family is the same, everyone is buying her toys and she already has too many. I'm using some of the money I would of spent on more presents on clothes in the sales

I'm the same. I'm not cramming this tiny house full of toys he's not going to play with. Kids get bored when they have too much.
After seeing my cousin, who gets everything he's ever asked for or even looked at, who is the most ungrateful difficult to please child I've ever seen, I've vowed not to spoil Lucas like that. I just don't see the point.

My niece is like that! She gets EVERYTHING she wants all the time. This is why I also dont want them to have too much.

Hannah's got what I consider a lot, but it's nowhere close to 40

she's got 10-15 from us/Santa and another 5 or so from my mom (she lives in Texas but sends money for me to get Hannah some things). FIL has given me her gift already and I don't know that the MIL will get her anything at all so that is probably all she's getting

oh wait I'm wrong hubby's cousin has bought a couple of presents for her as well
