Is this a hemorrhoid? Possibly tmi =/

This morning while I was in the shower I noticed a small lump of flesh on my anus that was swollen and protruding outwards (sorry gross and tmi I know!)It's a little tender, almost like when you get chafed from wiping too much

Could this be a hemorrhoid? I had just had a bowel movement about 10 minutes before I discovered it.

Anyone else ever have this? I never had this with my last pregnancy.

Sounds like it yes, just get yourself some cream from your local chemist and maybe some wet toilet wipes in case wiping becomes sore. I've had them but they've not hurt or itched

Does it protrude from the outer ring of tissue or from *inside*? If the former, it may just be a skin tag - and if it is, it should go away after the birth. It may also be a genital wart - not the end of the world either, but you may need to have your cervix checked for other warts just in case.

I know it's embarrassing, but go to the doctor to confirm what it is before you start self-medicating.

I only feel it when I flex the muscles like pushing, otherwise I can't feel it.

I never got them with my first either until after the birth and have had one show up this pregnancy.
Sounds exactly like what you are discribing, mine showed after a bowel movement as well. It itched at one point then went away after a few days. So if it hurts or itches I would get some cream otherwise it should be fine.

try some cream or some witchhazel... cream didn't do anything for me but witchhazel was aaammmaazinng mine also showed up after a bm too, didnt even think i was straining beyond the norm :s sit on an ice pack too!! i didnt want to cuz i didnt want dh to kno but he saw i was in mass discomfort and i told him i couldn't tell him cuz it was embarassing (so of course he really had to find out now!) and guessed it... he is very humorous about it but brought me an ice pack to sit on and now i am so glad he did.. i wouldn't have grabbed one myself... it shrunk to almost gone!!

i just got it from the drug store near the hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol check the band-aid aisle hope you find it! i used witch hazel soaked toilet paper (or make up pads) held 'tween my cheeks while sitting on an ice pack if you have lavender essential oil u can use that too... witch hazel tho was very soothing... aahhh
