Is this another chemical?

Hi everyone. I’ve had three chemical pregnancies this year. I took a pregnancy test yesterday because I had sore breasts which isn’t common for me and got a negative in the morning, light positive in the afternoon and a darker positive in evening. Today I got two negatives and a really light positive, a squinter. I’m 3-4 days away from getting my period. Is this a chemical or is it that I’m so early the hormone can’t always be detected? I’m thinking chemical. What has your experience been? Thank you in advance for your replies.

Regarding getting some positive and some negative tests, any line usually indicates a positive. The darkness of the line is not only influenced by how far along you are but by how diluted your urine is. FMU is more concentrated so testing then will give the most accurate result. The urine becomes more diluted throughout the day (also depends on how much you drink) so lines might appear lighter and in the early stages there might not be enough HCG to show up.

Hi. Thank you for your response and for the information. Perhaps it was because I was testing so early like you said. I have no answers yet. I was due for my period yesterday and got a positive test. Still light. I plan to test again at some point today.

What’s concerning is the lack of progression. With my twins I tested after a missed period, and the lines got darker daily. This time I tested a week before but I was still thinking lines should start getting darker. I wasn’t able to test this morning with FMU but I am trying not to drink or us the restroom for 3 hours and will test this afternoon. See if the line is darker from yesterday. If it’s not, I’m now after a missed period so I doubt it’s viable.

Here’s today’s test. It is a clear and immidate positive but still faint. Slightly darker than yesterday. I don’t trust it yet. I will need to see a better progression tomorrow since that will be 48 hours.

I am sorry you are going through this. Have you been reffered to a doc for further investigation?
