Is this FULL BLOWN labour???? Help

Since 0530 this morning I have been getting pain every 4 minutes then at 0700 it just stopped but then at 0730 it has all started again

I get the feeling that all I want to do is have a wee when the pain isnt there, My waters HAVENT broken or not that I know of and I havent lost the plug?! so is it likely that this is labour???

Bump is totally solid to the touch....

I am so sorry for being thick but this is my first little one and have no idea of what to expect

Any and all advice will be welcomed

MW isnt available until office hours - believe it or not!!!!!!

But thanx i will def give her a call when she is working, was hoping someone was gonna say Nah your being silly dont worry LOL

sounds like it may be hun, i would ring delivery suite or labour ward as your only 33 weeks.

ring labour ward for advice. .... braxton hicks can come frequently tho and with pattern towards the end. have you tried having a bath.. plenty to drink and something to eat? sometimes that can stop them coming. can u describe the pain? x

as hopeforamirac has said, i wouldnt wait til office hours, id give the labour ward a ring and see what they say xx

was in hospital on Tuesday as they said that I was in pre-term labour and they sent me home and just said to take it easy and to see my MW on my next appointment which is Tuesday (see other post on here 33 weeks and in pre-term labour)

the pain is low under bump and goes crushing across the front makes me feel like I want a wee or poo!!!!

feel a little sick but not going to be sick and just so uncomfortable

I'd call delivery/labour suite at hospital, especially because if its the real thing you will need the sterois injection for baby's lungs. Give them a call rather than waiting.

hmmm.. could be babies head engaging? I'm afraid the only way you're gonna find out is to go get checked out. Try the warm bath, food and fluids first. x

I am going to call the MW i think as I dont want to worry hubbie and have to call him out of work if it is nothing and just a false alarm, but hopefully the MW will pop over and see me then she can hopefully say what is happening?"!

Hi all

Came out of hospital last night..... What a nightmare

Well here goes

Went in on Wednesday was told in Preterm Labour and 2cm dilated at 33wks!!!!

Was taken to Labour ward was given injection of steroids had another internal exam and told no NOT dilated cervix closed but contracting every 10mins

Thursday still contracting had 2nd steroid injection

Friday had a scan to see if cervix was open or closed and how long it was!!!!

Cervix is closed and 3cm long head is engaged at 4/5 and I am NOT 33 wks I am infact 36 weeks BUT notes cant be changed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW! Glad everything is ok and at 36 weeks whatever happens now you wont need to be scared.

I don't understand how u are 3 weeks further along then you thought? Didn't you have a 20 week scan? X
