is this ok?

I recently upped Amelia's bottles from 3 to 4 oz as she was draining them - she never took the full 4, usually 3 - 3 1/2. Anyway, yesterday and today she seems to have gone backwards - she is stopping after taking just 2 - 3 and nothing i do will make her take anymore.

Is it normal/ok for babies to suddenly seem to want/need less milk? She is still going 3 - 4 hrs between feeds and seems content on what she is taking and not hungry after, but why would she suddenly drop her milk intake?

Amelia is two weeks old tomorrow and according to the feeding guide should be starting to take around 4 oz? Any thoughts?

The guide is just that, a guide! Dont worry about it. If she seems happy and content leave her with what she is taking. Im sure she will tell you when she wants more (there is usually a growth spurt about now).

i think its normal hun. Rhys is 2 weeks old and he took 4oz for a few days now he's gone back to 2-3oz 3-4 hourly too.

Hannah goes through periods of eating more and eating less. Let her guide you. If she's hungry she'll let you know

Agree with everyone else, she knows what she wants/needs, so let her guide you. I make 5oz bottles for Olivia - some days she drains it, other days she'll only have 3oz........babies know what they need, and so long as they gain enough weight, don't worry.

Im sure its just your LO chopping and changing what they fancy but just keep the teat flow in mind and maybe get the next stage up ready at home for when they need it etc xx
