Is this positive? - Updated with new tests.

Had this test result which confused me, ovulation is not due until 3rd August but this test looked positive at first and then after staring it for a while it looked negative.

There is one tiny line in the test line that is as dark as the control line but then the rest of the test line is a tiny bit lighter so not sure if that tiny line counts as positive?

If it's a negative would you say ovulation is close?
Should I expect a positive tomorrow?

Because we are TTC with donor sperm we have to arrange dates in advance and worried that the date we have arranged, 1st August, will be too late judging by todays OPK.

Only get one try each cycle so got to be spot on!

Pic one was taken WITHIN the 10 minutes, Pic two was AFTER the 10 minutes. It's an internet cheapie test.

On both pics control line is on the right and test line on the left.

It's worth mentioning that whilst I have no other ovulation signs now I did have some EWCM a few days ago that confused me but OPK said no then and it's now dried up.

On pic 1 you can see the tiny dark line if you look closely, by the time pic 2 was taken the test line had lightened a little so looks like a definate negative but they do say to read within 10 minutes so it is still acurate?

How often after a positive OPK is the best time to inseminate??

Just done another test which was a complete negative, no line at all!

It's got to be a faulty test surely??

Will upload pics in a minute, just about to use the same urine as the complete negative test with another test to see if it was faulty.

Right test 2 was definately a dud as test 3 with same urine looks even more closer to positive!! Although I think still a negative

Middle one I as assuming was a faulty test as makes no sense.

See what I mean about the 1 dark line in the test strip and the rest being lighter?

Does that 1 dark line count as a positive or does the whole test strip have to be as dark?

I would take that as a positive personally. Mine often do that where the test line is 'half really dark' there is something on the poas website that says depending on the brand its positive sorry I couldnt help more but I would get bding! x
