Just a little story about my daughter to give hope to new parents to prem babys.

My daughter Honey was born at 24 weeks, she weighed 533 grams, she had about 12 blood tranfusions, mengites at 4 weeks old and had cronic Lung disese.

she is now 5 years old, i was talk because of a bleed on her brain she would not walk, talk or be 'normal'.

Honey has mild cereble palsy, she does not eat she is tube fed, BUT she walks, she talks and she goes to main stream school (with a one to one worker).
she is behind (mental age of 2 1/2) but she is here, she is happy and a joy in my life, the Dr's gave me little hope for her, and she has prooved them all so wrong, the first year was the hardest, she come home on 24 hour oxygen but after that year nothing!.

it is hard and scary,. not knowing what the future holds, but the outcome can always be diffrent to what ur told, i would not change Honey for the world.

when i find out how to i will upload some pics of her first born and now, and u can see the change in her!

i wish everyone the best with their tiny babys xxx
