It was so exciting!

So i had my first "official" doctors appt where i got examed, and had my first ultrasound. I was extremely nervous at first. I had never been examened down "there" before so i didnt know what to expect. But after she was done i was fine.... then she said it was time to do an ultrasound so i went and got my family. Then when we were in the room and i got to see my little peanut on the screen i was so happy i couldnt stop smiling ! when i went in i thought i was gonna cry bc of how emotional i have been lately but i didnt i was just so happy.... the doctor was laughing and so was my family bc my little peanut wouldnt stop moving! She said he was very active, and really big for how far along i am.... Origionally my due date was the 22 of April but she said my new date is April 12. (Anyone elses date around the time of mine?)
And then when she gave me the pictures i noticed my peanut is holding up the hand gesture of a peace sign. Hah i then said well it sure is my baby.

I dont think ive ever been so happy in my life.. i was in awe...
How was it seeing your baby on screen for the first time for everyone else?

Aww sounds like a lovely appointment How many weeks are you? The first time i saw my baby on the screen i was just relieved. It was about 8 weeks so there wasnt much to see. The second time at about 14 weeks was much better, got to see movements and my dates got put forward a week between the first and second scans dates.

Im !3 weeks and 5 days.
Yea thats really cool... i thought i was !0 weeks when i went in but then she said i was !3.
Have you eveer seen the movie marley and me? lol i asked my doctor before we went in tht ? and she was like yea and i was like well i hope its not like how her first appt and she was like ohh i see well no i can definately tell somethings in there lol i felt stupid but i was worried it would be dead or something... did you have any worries?

first scan was at 5.5 weeks, all they could see was the sac and i was more confused then everything
second scan at 8 weeks, overjoyed that they found a heartbeat
10 weeks scan, surprised because i was so sure something was wrong, so happy i cried, knew things were meant to be



i want to see my little baby again already

the heartbeat on the doppler was the most amazing for me so far

I saw the beginning of the film because i was on a plane and it was on the inflight movies but i turned it off because i got bored of it! Yeah i had worries because my first baby was dead when i went for my scan. So ive had that fear ever since. I still have that fear now even though i can feel the baby moving and my next scans on tuesday. I think once youve experienced it, its gonna haunt you forever.

Aw congratulations hun! I bet you're over the moon.

When I went for my first scan I was 12 weeks and oh it as just so perfect to see him for the first time and to see him sucking his thumb and scratching his head..
<< That's my 12 weeks scan which most people mistake for my 20 week scan :S.

I know how you feel hunny I was sure when I had my scare the other night something was up although he was kicking like mad after MC, I think pregnancy is stress rather than 'enjoyable' xxxx

My first scan was at about 13 weeks and me and my OH almost cried. she was moving around alot. I loved seeing her. My second scan was at about 20 weeks and again she was moving around alot but I loved seeing how much she had grown. She actually waved and I started crying. My next scan is tomorrow and I will be 30 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Hopefully she is still a she haha.

I am glad your appointment went well and I bet your excited to see her again later on.
