Found it a few weeks ago. I am off to docs I'm morning but has anyone else experienced this? It's on my labia minora right side. Googled it and scared myself silly :( xx

Sorry just as clueless, and not much help but I have this too! And I'm also scared silly after googling. I asked at my midwives appointment yesterday and she seemed pretty clueless just sent off a urine sample for testing and told me to see my gp. Got an appointment with them next week so hopefully no more then but would be interested to know anyone else's experiences in the meantime? xx

Oh no, sorry you have this too :( my doc says its a cyst and put me on antibiotics for a week. She's also told me to take warm baths to encourage it to come to a head and burst. I am not so sure if I am convinced she's right after I have googled and seen the horrible things it could be :( just gonna have to take the antibiotics and pester her again in a week if it hasn't gone away!

I have one too, but it's where the stitching has gone and mine is a skin tag. Im told nothing can be done about it - it itches and hurts if I touch it.

Could be the cyst or a simple skintag as tigger said! I also did silly things like googling and convinced myself of horrible things I probably don't have... best to stay away from google at a time like this! Hopefully it clears up! xx

I once had a bump that was just an ingrown hair....dont know if this helps or not..also as a rule of thumb "dr. google" generally only makes you scared until you see your GP...let the doctor diagnose, self diagnosing is scary!

I've had this a few times in my life... and for me, they were a cyst (or possibly ingrown hair folicle?)-- but after a week or so it would go away. A warm wash cloth applied can help bring it to the surface... they are harmless and nothing to worry about.

I know it's easier said than done... but try not to google this type of thing! That will just make you worry too much as there is so much info out there!!! They typically hurt/itch a bit and are a reddish bump inside or right near your labia. Not fun- but they do go away in time...

Hope this helped ease your mind a bit hun. :hugs:

Hi everyone, i too had this, a lump and very sore all down right side, went to my own GP who said it was a graze from the delivery, gave me some anti biotic cream which made no difference, went back to hospital on Monday for my 6 week check up and the doctor said it was a flap of skin which is normal, i cant remember the name of it but she basically took it off, it was a little stick with black on the top of it! It bled for a few hours was a little stingy but i am so glad she did it cos i am feeling alot better now!

i'll google and see if i can find the exact name of it/procedure!
