Its Actually Happening

I'm 17 and I thought my parents were going to absolutely flip about me being pregnant. Same sort of situation.. my boyfriend lives 60 miles from me, we've been together steady for a year and are excited. My advice would be to tell the asap. My parents were absolutely fine with it - i could not believe it!! They have offered me so much support as well and I think telling them soon will be best because when you just find out you're pregnant it's hard to deal with, even if you're pleased about it! Good luck!

Okay well just to let you all know. We've done the telling. OH parent's cried with happiness. Good thing. My parents well, my mum told me its not an episode of Eastenders, with that angry looking face (bit hypocritical, she got pregnant at 17 and gave birth 2 days before her 18th.) didn't speak to me for a week, although the is finding a couple of words to say now. Only a few though. Dad looked so disapointted but has told me he will support me best he can, keep lecturing me about how hard its going to be though, but thats my dad.

After various conversations, have decided to take up the offer or moving in with OH parents, till council can rehouse us, which should be quickly considering 7 people living in a 2 bedroom house. Will be easier for us to find our feet for first few months though.

So that's it. Hard part done, now I can just look forward to meeting LO. Boy or girl? Hmmm.
