Its been 6weeks since period but pregnancy tests negative

Me and my partner have been trying to conceive for a while now, I tend to have irregular cycles. I last had a period on the 6th of August and its now the 20th September, so its been just over 6 weeks and still no period, I've done pregnancy tests but they come back as negative.
Any advice? Or anyone who might have experienced this before?

Hi sorry your in such a long wait!! I wish I had answers for you but I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm 21dpo and all tests r negative and no period. My bbt temps are elevated. Hate this wait. Know your not alone!! It's so frustrating isn't it? I hope you can get answers soon!!!!
