LO has been up all night. I have fed her over and over again, and got DH to give her a bottle, and she is still hungry so I am breastfeeding her again. We lay her down, get about 3-5 minutes to relax, and she is screaming agian acting hungry. I think she is gassy too. Last night was almost the same....I am so tired......

Awww... hugs. Are you sure she is hungry? Have you tried a dummy, she might just want to comfort suck. Isabelle was exactly like this until she had a dummy. Hope things improve :)

:hugs: Maybe if she's gassy it's causing her some pain, does she have trouble bringing wind up? Is she like it during the day too, or is it only at night? I hope it gets better soon. x x

she takes a binky but spits it out then cries cuz its poking her cheek lol she has been gassy during the day the last couple days too, its more on the other end tho lol grunts and whines and cries trying to fart or poop. poop is still soft though so not plugged up.... i dunno.... i just want some sleep!

this is exactly how my night has been, had a bottle b4 we went bed n bf all night, winded him gave dummy, he just had a really bad night, i gave him to my fella n sed cuddle him i need some fresh air, so ended up going down stairs warmin up a bottle n standin in the backyard with the dog for a few mins. 6 hours later hes now sleepin x

Holly was like that too, she had a milk intolerance and silent reflux which explained her crying though. Is your OH able to help out at night so you can take turns to sleep? The only other thing I did was to catch up on sleep during the day, but you might not be able to if you have another child as well.

i think my lo is due to poo, its been 4days since he last one. he gets so angry till he finally poos xx

hope u manage to get some sleep x

he works overnights so only home two nights a week unfortunately. And I wish my 3 year old would take naps so I could too, but she doesn't anymore :( LO was sleeping from 11-4 or 11-5, so this is a huge change...

I agree are you sure she is hungary ? when my LO had a tummy ache or colic she used to constantly feed and that seemed to make her worse we also tried using a dummy but LO would just used to spit it out hope you get some rest soon x

i guess i was just going by her rooting and sucking her hands like when she is hungry.... I'm not sure now :(

hi hun, have you tried infacol? i found that it helps with my gassy baby no end! and in the eve i bath her (after the others are in bed) and then settle her on her front on my lap and pat her back until she fall's asleep. I also hold her dummy in with one hand and then try and doze as she is up all night! I know its so hard, i feel your pain xx x x

when poppy went through this i gave her infacol it seemed to help her with her wind then i just used to strip her off down to her nappy take my top off and lay in bed with her on my chest it worked for her and settled her down then i would try and wait untill she was due her next feed before offering her a bottle or breast. 9 times out of 10 i we would fall asleep and id wake up and OH had moved her to her moses basket

Thanks - is infacol gas drops? We have some but not sure if we have that kind here. I may have to get some to try. She laid down after I fed her and slept for like 2 hours maybe so that helped, but I'm still pooped!

Is it a growth spurt? My LO was very fussy during week 4.

You could also try giving her colief which is the enzyme lactase which helps to break down the lactose in milk. I also found baby massage helps relieve gas - there are some good videos of this on u-tube.

It sounds like a growth spurt to me. If it doesn't get better in a few days, then it might not be, but babies want to eat all the time during growth spurts, especially when you're BF.
