Hi all,
I was last here in 2011 when my DS was born. Now with a new man in my life I'm venturing into this again.
After a month of trying (using clearblue conception indicators) we caught but weeks 4-7?saw some very heavy post sex bleeding. Some trips to EPU made it look ok, but still the heavy, bright bloods continued. I'd never had so much as spouting with DD in 2009 or DS.
Anyway, here I am at 12+1! Last night I went to Cardiff for a private NIFTY scan for downs,Edwards and patau tests. I'm 29 so low risk, but I wanted to be sure. My last nhs scan was early at 9+6 so the scan alone last night was reassuring.
So now I await my blood results in 10 working days - because they take baby's DNA from my blood we should know the sex then too! It's all very exciting now we're heading into the safe zone.
So for those if you worried about bleeding, it can be ok! Lots of love and luck to you all x
