It's Friday - who's having a hot curry for dinner?

Time to try out those good old wives tales I say. I'm going to order (could have made one but too tired and can't be arsed) something HOT! Time to give my little lady some eviction encouragement. I had fresh pineapple for brekkie and will have some more later. I definitely don't fancy a 'protein shake' - if you catch my drift - for desert though.

I know she'll come when she's good and ready and obviously don't want her to come to any harm by coming a little earlier than her due date, so just a light hearted post.

So, come one then, who's with me and going to try to budge baby? One of hubby's friends said he had a 'feeling' our LO would be born this weekend too.

Me too. I went food shopping this morning and got an extra hot curry to make this evening with hubby. Also had a pineapple today as well and just been for a 3 mile walk. Hopefully one of these will help get things going,lol. Might even DTD tonight

I'm hoping for a home waterbirth so wish my hubby good luck with that one!!! That'll learn 'im!

Yeah I was thinking that, I don't fancy stinking out the hospital when in labour!

that's true but i've been losing plug for days and having cramps which turned out to be contractions according to the monitor at the hospital so really don't want to risk it with anything even if they are old wives tales lol x

This is my first as well so we shall see if it goes to plan and more to the point if I can cope without strong pain relief! I'm sure your hospital birth will be just as lovely.

I would, but I cannot stand hot food, I usually have a korma!
DH has bought some curry sauces to have in increasing strengths lol, not sure I'll be able to stomach them!

I love lamb korma. Maybe I'll order one with a side of freshly chopped chillis.

I am not a curry person, even pepper for me is hot!! BUT tonight we are going to my sisters and she is making enchalladers, i have told her to make mine the same as everyones elses (she usually doesnt put chillie powder in mine!!) but i think might as well try and evict the little one!!
