I've definitely given up on taking symptom spotting seriously. So many women get no symptoms at all in the first few weeks and it seems as though everyone on here does!! I thought I had really good symptoms last month and, obv, I didn't so it's just not worth worrying about them now unless something very different happens.
our bodies do play cruel tricks on us don't they?
the thing is, just right after ovulation, the body "prepares" itself for pregnancy by releasing estrogen and progesterone and these two hormones are also the pregnancy hormones, so women do get the usual nausea, bloating, water retention, gas, cramps, tiredness, sore breasts and everything "pregnant".
but once no egg implants in the lining; these two hormones drop suddenly, then AF comes.
if an egg implants, then hcg is releases later and doubles, so some women only get symptoms with the hcg later.
but there are some distinctive symptoms for every women esp those who have been pregnant before and they know that these are false symptoms.
I had 2 full days of feeling like something was pricking me in the lower abdomen with a pin or needle that really hurt a few times. that was quite a good sign that something was implanting. but i did not have implantation bleed at all.. so its different with everyone..........
one thing is certain - the party's ain't over till the witch arrives! and every symptom in the world won't be a sign of certainty until you see the two lines!
