I did get confirmation today that my baby died at 6 weeks and 3 days. I would have been 9 weeks tomorrow.

I have a D&C scheduled for tomorrow. Fibroids were found on my uterus during today's scan. I still don't know how many, where on the uterus they are located and my doctor will be calling me once she gets the report in her hands.

In the meantime, I am somewhat pleased that I can get the D&C done tomorrow and over with so I can move on.

My heart breaks for every woman who has been through this.

Like you, i lost my baby at 6 weeks and i booked straight in for a D&C, but couldn't actually get in till a few days later and it happened naturally..

Thanks everyone. I guess it's just onwards and upwards for each of us eh? I have faith we will all someday carry to term and welcome our sons or daughters into this world.

This whole fibroid issue has me worried, although my dr. seems to think that if they were large, she would have felt them during my pelvic exams. She does not seem to think there is a link between the fibroids and the miscarriage.
