IUI and DH abstaining from sex....HELP!?

Hey guys okay so this is the deal we have not BD since Thursday early morning hours like 1am ish. We usually surge and do IUI over the weekend so I thought I mapped out enough time. If I do not surge today so we can IUI tomorrow I have to trigger tonight and IUI won't be until Wednesday. Following me? LOL.....so now my question..is that to long to have the same lil guys in there??? I know I was told 5 days but I just don't want them all to be older and slower and dieing. I am sorrry for the long explanation as now I am freaking out. This is round #2 and I am always so afraid I misread the stupid OPK...I will buy the expensive smiley face ones if for some reason we do not get our this time...which I am praying with all my might that we do. My hubby has borderline low sperm count. My RE does not like us to abstain longer than 48 hours. Therefore if we have an IUI on Wednesday we would DEFINITELY BD on Monday.

I agree with PCOSMomToOne. Definitely BD today if IUI is Wednesday.

I would also invest in the smiley face OPKs. I can never tell for sure on the others and with IUI it isn't going to work to just guess and hope you're right on interpreting the test. Be sure to test both morning and evening so you don't miss the surge.

If you end up having your IUI tomorrow abstaining may have some effect on his numbers, but the wash should separate out only the best for the IUI.
