I've moved on from being totally crushed, to being excited to start a new chapter. IVF, here we come! Maybe we were just meant to have twins

If my last IUI didn't work I'm moving on to IVF as well
I'm hoping for 8 babies so I can get my own reality show LOL just kidding

Just wanted to add that I get weird twitches where I think my ovaries are whenever I do an IUI. I don't know what its about. It reminds me of when I first felt my babies, but that didn't happen when I was pregnant until I was about 4 months along.

how are you feeling today Holly?

I started getting odd sensations in my boobs - they feel like pins and needles but are completely normal to the touch! So they don't hurt when I press on them but they hurt just like that - by themslves

Still some odd sensations in my tummy....but I say it's all in my mind

I will do a sensitive HPT tomorrow to make sure the trigger is out of system and then it'll be just over 4 days to wait till my test day on Sunday

MariaF~ :wave: Gosh - I am sooo afraid to even say I do or don't feel anything.. I am petrified that my mind will play games on me! I had the pins and needles type feeling in the shower last night in my boobs.. but mine also feel normal to the touch.. and TMI but I do feel a little wetter 'down there' .. more than I was before O.. who knows.. maybe its just bc the Clomid is finally out of my system?!?

I think I am going to test on Sunday the more I think about it.. knowing there is a smidgen of a chance of getting a BFP that early. I wish I knew right now.. I've stopped running since my IUI and just gone for walks instead and its DRIVING ME NUTS not being able to run! But I don't want to regret anything.. such conflicting info on whether it's okay to do or not and I don't want to wonder if I end up getting a BFN.

WHEN are they going to come out with a HPT that you can use @ 6DPO?!? Lol

Holly - you are soo funny! Odd though that we have such similar symptoms. My boobs never hurt like this before...but then I think its the progesterone supplements.

I also try to think about it as little as pssoible not to be too disappointed.

And I agree that they should invent a method to tell you are pg like 5-6 days after ovulation! Lol

Well- I attribute anything I feel to Clomid.. not taking progesterone.. I am just attributing to anything BUT that so if I get a BFN (which we won't! ) then I will not look silly!

I should get started on finding a way to get HPT tests to work a lot sooner _ I'd be able to quit my day job for sure! Then I can try and have 10 babies because I'll be able to afford it! lol.. nahhhhh I already have an 8 year old son.. I want 2 more.. 3 if I am doing well with that.. how about you, how many do you want?

Im so jealous of you girls in Florida! We go there on holidays every other year and I love the place!
The sun, the shopping, the restaurants, the night life!!! Wish we could move there - but how do we get a green card...?

Well, I don't think I ovulated at all actually. I had my suspitions back on friday because I still had cramps on my right side (nowehre near as strong as on thursday though, but still) and my nipples never got sore. Every other time I ovulated my nipples got really sore the day after...Well, excpet for last cycle when they didn't get sore until 4 or 5DPO.

Also, the worst thing is that my BBT was only 36.88 this morning - and that's on progesterone supplements!!! Usually after ovulation my temp never drops below 37...

So I think I do need the ovarian drilling as that follicle just can't burst through the ovarian capsule...not even after the Trigger shot

MariaF~ what part of FL do you usually travel to?? I know getting a green card is a MESS! My ex husband was from Peru and even when we had everything- there was a ton of paperwork and it was all about money- one form was like $400 a piece- a total rip off and a money making scheme if you ask me!! I think you can apply for one but it takes like 10 years or so to get? CRAZY!

Hmm~ that is odd about you not ovulating. I am REALLY sure I did because I had more prominent and strong cramps the night I got the positive OPK but I've still had that dull ache ever since. We can't see inside of there~ so you really never know~ I keep my FX'd and say a little prayer for you!

I don't know much about ovarian drilling~ is that a very invasive procedure??? Definitely worth a try if you don't get a BFP~ I am still hoping for you though!!

I have the same concern, although I did have a positive OPK, but no trigger shot. My nipples were burning last cycle, but this cycle nothing... I do feel like there is some kinf of suspicious activity down below, but nothing major.
Tempt at 6AM today - 37c.

My hubby was visiting friends in FL last night and called me just now to tell they are expecting a third child. While I don't know his friends that well, it made me feel very jealous And he said it was "an accident". Now my mood is spoiled and I feel like a loser some people hav accident's, and some like me cannot get pregnant ;(

We are from NYC as well My hubby opened up his own business in FL. I will stay in NYC until our son's school is over and will move in July.

lurdes777~ that is awesome that you'll be moving once school is out! The only time I really miss NY is during the holidays! Good luck with your move~ and hopefully you'll be 6-7 months preggo by then

RayeAnne~ you could always move too!!!! Sometimes I've thought about moving more north because as much as you hate the cold- it sucks being hot most of the time~ and seeing palm trees out your window on Christmas morning really isn't my ideal either! BUT- my son's father is in Jacksonville so I feel like our chance of moving is pretty slim right now and it's a priority for me to have Eric involved with his dad as much as possible. I want to move to Chicago! I've gone there on vacation 3 times and LOVE IT! So much fun!

Lurdes - I think you are fine, hun. 37 is a good temperature - I wish mine was that high! But weird about the nipples, right?

Holly - I also had VERY prominent pains in my ovaries over the 2 days before IUI. It was raining when we were walking towards the clinic from the car park so I thought Id run - well, I coulnd't! My right ovary felt like it was about to explode! So I had to go back to walk and was almost doubled over

So you'd think the pains and the Trigger shot indicated ovulation....but then why the low BBT and no sore nipples? I really wish I could just relax and not try to connect every little symptom with pregnancy! LOL!

Holly - we've been to FL, Miami, Tampa, the Keys, Orlando - and driven all the way from Tampa to the Keys - loved it!!!

Haven't been to the Gulf coast and that's probably next. In fact we are thinking about April holidays and Florida is one of the top choices I just need to wait and see what happens with this IUI. If it doesn't work, I think we'll book the holiday and just wait until after that for the next IUI cycle.

MariaF~ you've been to more places in Florida than I have from what it sounds like! And I've lived here since 1997! I've been to the Gulf Coast- my Dh's family has a vacation home and it is soooo nice!

Maybe you did ovulate.. I know some other things make you question it but I don't think that discomfort is for nothing. Mine hurt pretty bad the night before the IUI.. so I dunno! I do know that when I did an OPK the next morning after the IUI it was negative too.. so that is why I am 99% sure that I did. I know my situation is a little different though bc I didn't have a trigger shot or anything. Well, the best thing we can do is hope for the best and trust that when the time is right, it WILL happen!!

Hi Holly - how are you getting on?

I pretty convinced Im out this cycle. I don't have ANY symptoms.

I think the sensitive boobs and stomach cramps were from the HCG Trigger shot. Now that it's out of my system all the symptoms have vanished.

I know Im only 8DPO but most ladies start getting pg symptoms by now so Im not hoping for too much.

We'll be taking a break until May as we've just found a lovely hotel in the Canary Islands (in Spain) and booked it for the end of April/early May. We get 2x4 days holidays because of Easter and then the Royal Wedding so we thought we'd go away and I didn't want to worry about being pregnant and not being able to fly.

What are your symptoms?

MariaF~ do not give up hope girl! It was waaaaaaaaay too soon! And seriously- you may just not feel things as strong after having the HCG! Soooo many women feel nothing- I didn't feel anything when I got preggo with my first son about 9 years ago- I had cramping off and on.. but it was so minor that I thought nothing of it!! Be optimistic!!!!!

I haven't honestly felt "much" and I afraid to even consider anything really as a symptom and not something I'm making up in my head.. I have had a bit of lower cramping still.. that I can say. Boobs feel fine though~ no discomfort there.. and tired but that's also not knew because of working full time, school, being a mom- daily life. I overall truly feel ok so who knows. It won't surprise me if it's a BFN because I am not having symptoms really~ but then I should take my own advice and not be pessimistic about it, lol. I was actually wondering how YOU were doing last night!

WOW~ your vacation sounds great! I wanna go! I have no vacation scheduled yet.. and part of that is bc we don't know when we may have to be here for the TTC stuff. A vacation is a great idea though! I'm still hoping you might be preggo for your trip!
