I've been single...

6 months! Strangely, it feels kind of good. Like 'wow I can't believe I've done so well'.

There have been blips of thinking I could make it work with the ex, but nope still single.

So how long have you girls been single now?

im having a party when i file for divorce, another one when he is served, another when i get my court date and then a final one when its all done and dusted!!!

Ditto! Going through the stretch right now, but hopefully soon not only will I be able to celebrate being single -- but celebrate having my maiden name back! LO and I will have the same last name, legally! (When he's born), whoot!

I've been separated since the beginning of March, so this is my sixth month mark.

its gets easier hun... it certainly wasn't this easy or empowering in the beginning... i think it took me bout 1 month to realise we weren't gonna get back together... 2 weeks of mopin bout it... by the time i got to 3 months i realised i didn't need him... nd now... well now i simply have no feelings towards him at all (good or bad - i just don't care enough ).

That is so good to hear hun And you sound so positive and strong, well done you!!! Cant wait to get where you are and I know in time that will come, well as long as he stops with the mind games and giving me a little hope there might be a chance

I think that you are all amazing. I'm dealing with a breakup but never got around to having any babies so i just have myself to sort out. to do it with kids, i admire you all so so much. your strength is inspiring

Time makes it easier hun, but I won't lie it will take a lot of time. Some deal with it better than others. I'm 6 months in and still feel like my heart in being ripped in two a lot of the time but I go longer times with being happy by myself and thinking of him less.

I think in anther 6 months I will be a totally different person, and look back on how I am now and wonder why I was such an idiot.

But right now give yourself time to grieve for a lost relationship and don't put too much stress on yourself. It will get easier, I promise
