I've bought a pregnancy test

On the face of it, it doesn't seem so bad, but it is.

My husband and I have a 4 month old daughter, he is in the process of starting a new business and my mum has lung cancer. Hence, this is not the time I wanted to be buying a Clear Blue.

I have though, as everything in my body is telling me that I'm pregnant.

I haven't taken it yet and am quite frankly scared to do so.

I'm clutching as straws here, but does anybody have any advise to give me? I really don't know what to do, especially if the test comes back as I think it will.

Honey, you need to take that test. I know the feeling, its one of the most nerve wracking things ive personally ever had to do, & your hearts beating 100 mph, but until you know for definate, you cant let yourself stress out so much.

Let us know how you get on.

x

I agree with pp-just take the test and get it done. :hugs:

It could be stress messing up your cycle (this happened to me once when I suffered a bereavement)

Good luck

Good luck - I hope you get the result you want :hugs: x

If your daughter is only 4 months it could be hormones messing up your cycles and creating the symptoms. Cycle rarley get back to normal so early on after giving birth.

I would say take the test, accept whatever the outcome is and be optimistic. If I was in your position I'd be very scared too, but my son is the best thing that has ever happened to me and if I was to get another child I'd be happy no matter the circumstances. Spend as much time with your mom as you can. I don't know how much time she has, but you may view it as lucky that she could get to meet another grandchild… maybe? Many people aren't lucky enough to have a husband and family but still end up pregnant and doing it alone.

Let us know how you're doing. :hugs:

^ This.

Good luck! :)

Last year I was about a million percent sure I was pregnant. Everything in my body screamed pregnant, I put off testing for days because I was just too scared for the outcome. Turned out it was negative, I was just being daft.
Hope it went the way you wanted it to x

Sorry for the delay in replying, but it was a negative. I feel awful in a way for saying it, but THANK GOD!

I'm certainly not ruling out us having another baby, but now that I have just returned to work and everything is getting back on track, we don't need the stress right now.

I hear ya! I was in a similar boat and so scared to test- but knew it was the only way to know for sure (since I've not had periods since going on BC after LO). And it was a relief for sure... I mean, it wouldn't be the end of the world if it happened- but we are happy and set with our family now :)

I'm glad you got the outcome you wanted today... who knows what the future may hold? :hugs:
