I have had barely any food all day as i have no appetite at all as well as the fact me and OH have had a blazing row im just not hungry at all

will it effect my breast milk as ve barely had any calories ive had some cereal some yoghurt and some toast all day thats it :-/

just 1 day, no. ive gone days where all ive had was fruit

I'm on a diet and my milk supply is fine. But I would advise you to make sure you drink enough as not having enough water can really affect your supply. One day won't make a difference though as long as it's not a long term thing :)
You might feel pretty rough if you don't eat enough, as breastfeeding can be quite draining, so try and eat little and often. But as I said, one day of anything isn't going to have an effect :)

Fluids are the most important.. 1 day won't be that bad.

When my LO was younger I noticed the days I ate more, he slept better and was more settled. Idk if there is a correlation though.

Hope everything is okay :hugs:

thanks guys im gunna try and eat my main meals today :-/ going out for sunday lunch so that will be a nice big dinner :)

I don't think it hurts, but I would make sure you are drinking lots of water, so it keeps up your supply x

The water thing doesn't make much difference, as you get so much water in the foods you eat. Unless you're in 100 degree heat for days on end, you're getting plenty of water :flower:

Even a few days of a lower-than-normal calorie intake won't affect your milk. It didn't to me, anyway....

It does for me in the evenings - not right away but if I don't have much food and move around a lot (I walk lots with my baby) then by the next evening when my supply is at lowest I'll have even lower than normal amount so I try to snack throughout the day even when I don't feel too hungry, then I know I'll have constant supply.
