Hi all!! I think I have came searching for forums in order to vent my shock to my positive pregnancy tests I took yesterday and today (taken 3 so far). After being diagnosed with pcos last year and trying for a baby for almost a year with my ex husband I truely believed I would never fall pregnant naturally. I tried clomid and metformin which didn't seem to have any affect on me. I had a beautiful home and a nice family life however sadly my ex and I parted ways about a year ago. Fast forward one year and my situation is not ideal, I have a house to sell and a divorce to get through and I have just found out I am pregnant. I am in total shock! I am with a lovely man who I have been best friends with for 4 years. Although we have had rocky times with my marriage split we are very much in love and I think it just goes to show that life works in mysterious ways.
My cycles can last 90 days so planning sex around ovulation was never the case for me. After my gynaecologist suggesting I wouldn't fall pregnant naturally birth control never really crossed my mind. Hence my situation...........any advice for me and my shock would b great thank you

Welcome aboard and congratulations!

Wonderful story - when you least expect it you get your BFP. :happydance:

Congratulations, have a wonderful pregnancy! :hugs:

Hi! I can relate to your story. My ex husband and I tried to conceive for almost a year with no luck. Around the end of that year (for completely different reasons) we separated. A few months later I fell in love with my best friend of nearly a decade. We got married and conceived the instant I came off the pill. Sometimes things don't happen for a reason--to protect us I think, from feeling stuck in a bad situation or with a bad person. In my case at least, I think that's what happened. I was sure I was infertile, or atleast not very fertile. But when I tried with the right man, boom! I understand you are going through a lot right now. My divorce was tough too. I lived in 4 or 5 places over the course of a year. Your situation is tough, but you can and will make it. You are loved, you are worthy, and you can do this!

hi hun and congratulations xxxx
