I'm hoping to find some advice from people who have experience with immature eggs and if they considered mini IVF - if so were you able to find a good FS who specialises in it (I'm based in Melbourne).
Another question is if anyone knows much about AMH. In Feb 2015 I had an AMH of 9, then two months ago it was 5.1, one month ago it was 3.7. With such a dramatic drop I'm worried I have an underlying issue, but I've had my thyroid and hormones tested and all seems ok. Perhaps I should see an endocrinologist? So a professional in that area can be the judge.
We're doing IVF ICSI because my partner has cryptospemia, so imagine our surprise/joy when my egg-producing problems started popping up!
So far we've had two cycles:
1. 200 GonalF, 250 Ovadril trigger = 6 immature eggs.
2. 450 GonalF, 500 Ovadril trigger = 12 eggs; 9 immature, 3 injected and 1 fertilised. The 1 embryo made it to day 6 and started to deteriorate (it was a slow developer and never suitable for freezing). We never intended to transfer the 1 embryo, considering my parter could stop producing sperm at any stage and my AMH is dropping so fast, we're hoping to have a few embryos frozen so we can potentially have another baby in the future.
If anyone has advice on my situation, that would be greatly appreciated! We're obviously getting tired and constantly disappointed, with little good news to keep us energised.
