Just seen this....

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/...-test-tell-woman-IVF-chances-99-accurate.html

Has anyone had a go with it? It seems to good to be true.

The test can be found here...https://ivfpredict.com/index-1.html

So I just had a go, my chance is 26.3%, so I'm thinking my fourth attempt might be the lucky one. Well we will see....

Mine was 16.9% :nope:

I'm 35 in a few months so tried it at age 35 and then age 34, it went up to 24.8% for being 34. Surely a few weeks can't make that much difference??

Good find though even if it has depressed me lol!

H xx

Yep mine was 15%... i don't think it's accurate at all... in fact it's made me feel panicked and miserable! I'm obviously loopy..... at the end of the day every person is different and clinic success rates vary so a machine generated response is never going to be accurate...

i agree it cant be accurate it doesnt take much into account at all i found a calculator a while a go where you put in details like your hormone levels fsh etc into it il try and find it x

here it is

i much prefer this one :haha:

Mine said 25%. Wish I'd not done it now...I changed it to say I'd not had one failed attempt and it went up to 36%. Had no idea your chances diminished that much with a BFN behind you...I'll probably be 33 by the next cycle too, so it will go down even more.
No, not liking that at all :-(

I reckon its all rubbish... it gave me 26%.... Surely with only 5 eggs and 2 viable embryos my chance was less than 10%.... I hate statistics...ladies...you are individuals... and you will get your BFPS xxxxx

I did this too and got 27%. I don't really see how a few simple questions can give such an accurate and definite answer?!

Completely off topic, but does anyone else hate the daily mail and some of it's bigoted readers?!! I swear to god, they seem to hate all people who are obese, unemployed or on benefits, oh and the number one target seems to be Muslims! It really angers me so much! And some of the views the readers have on ivf, makes me want to scream!

i read the views on ivf too some people are so heartless x

Ohhh I'm so sorry I upset you all with this. I just though it was an interesting article.

I just don't understand how they can say it's 99% accurate, really doesnt make sense to me.

Anyway I like this calculator much better, and is more detailed, so I think much accurate.

I got 7.4!! but still going to try just one more time someone has to be the 7% right?

I agree, it can't be so accurate. There are so many variables in the whole thing that it doesn't take into account.
And I absolutely HATE the Daily Mail in general, including its readers. Why it has to scaremonger like it does is beyond me. Every single day it's a different health scare. The comments on the bottom of those stories are most often written by people who are just trying to stir up an argument. It wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't the journalists themselves. I don't believe anyone coud be so heartless, apart from journalists (and I used to be one, so I know!)

Don't worry chickies! I'm nearly 42 and get this the IVF clinic has given me a 21% success rate per cycle. So those statistics must be bs! If you're younger than me then you can't have a worse success rate. It's down to age, smoking and the success rate of the individual clinic. They vary quite a lot I gather. I was expecting 10% so 21% is a bonus! And my sister and friend both conceived their babies on the 2nd cycle of IVF, both were in their mid to late 30s and one had abnormal ovaries. Don't read these stats, get real facts and it will be better than you imagine I am sure.

Its aload of rubbish.i did it for my next cycle which is at22.5% and thats with 3 cycles.one loss and one live birth.i also did it as my 3rd cycle. 2Cycles.one loss and it gave me 15.5 %.and i had twins that cycle.its aload of rubbish ladies.answerin afew simple questions can not give you a %on a cycle workin.its all about chance.its just a matter of if the embies stick or not.plz dont take it to heart at all ladies.its all rubbish.
I also had ago at a woman called lulu from pompey on there.i was the reply hayley from pompy a couple of comments after her.

I tried this calculator too and only got 20 something precent....I was shocked...I immediately started to panic and my husband had to calm me down... this can't TRULY be 99% accurate...ughhh
