Hi
I had our first FS appoint 4 months ago we are due to go back in 2 weeks, they told us to go away and see if my husbands SA improves by taking extra vitamins and make a few lifestyles changes if we are not pregnant due to his low count at 10m it would be very hard to get pregnant naturally and may take some time, we have already been trying for over 2 years. We have just had SA so will be getting results next week. Any way they said when we go back they are likely to put us straight on IVF.
As we cannot get funded IVF in our area we will be going private, what happens in terms of choosing your clinic? How do you go about doing that does the FS help? Ours is from the NHS. Want to get an idea of how this works or if I should be setting up appointments now to start investigating clinics? to see most of the clinics they charge approx £100-£200
Also for those people who have had to go through this, I understand there is a lot of appointments needed when you do IVF (bloods, scans monitoring), so what would you suggest a clinic near your work in case you need to keep popping out etc. I dont live to far away from office but dont want people to notice too much.
Thanks for your advice
