IVF/ICSI Consultation - What should I ask?

I have my ivf/icsi consultation appt tomorrow.

I know that I am having the long protocol. I start DR on June 22. I have already had day 3 scan and blood work for this cycle. I know that the doctor will be deciding on dosage and sending me home with the meds...but what else should I ask about?

I was looking through my ivf book -

1. It suggests freezing dh's sperm ahead of time in case there is a surprise problem with the sperm on the day of the ivf. Not necessarily to be used but to be kept as a back up. So I want to know if they will do that.

2. It mentions that some clinics do assisted hatching - so I want to know benefits/drawbacks of it - and if they even do it?

3. I want to know what there plan is for each scenario - few eggs, many eggs, 3 day vs. 5 day.

4. I wondered if there was any way to test for sperm antibodies at this point. I hardly know what these are - but they are not good I know lol.

Anything else...?

Think you've just about covered everything there! It's more than I could come up with. The only question I wanted to know was when can we start?

Hope you don't mind me stopping in hun.

Just wanted to wish you lots of luck with your appt. Generally they bombard you with so much information you are just swamped. Make sure you have a list on paper so not to forget anything.

Also maybe about multiple or single transfers? As my Dr had a rule that he only does single transfers, even though the clinic itself doesn't hold that rule - so check with the Dr what his individual recommendations and regulations are.
