IVF - just stopped BCP - No AF

Hi all

I stopped birth control after 2 weeks and now am waiting for to come before i can start stimms... did u girls doing IVF go on BCP and stop and get AF and after how many days?

I took last BCP on Monday and nothing....i have appt with FS tomorrow to start stimms...mmmmm i dunno

It used to take me about 4 days from end of packet to arrival of when I took bcp. Really hoping they start stimms for you tomorrow regardless.

I didn't use BCP before starting my treatments. Not sure of the implications on your stimming. I'll keep my fingers crossed all goes well for you tomorrow ...

well just saw FS.. she says if no AF by Monday we have to postpone IVF till September.... as I have to start stimms on day 2 of AF... and her next round of IVfs she does is only in september

I feel so down..

Why is it she turns up uninvited and then doesn't come when you want her to? Cowface!!

I feel so down..

There is a pill that can be given to bring on a period. Can you not ask about that?

does not seem like it... do any of u girls know how a cervix is meant to feel before a period? sorry tmi..

I took 4 days of BCP before my FSH shots. I didn't have a period as well. After an ultrasound, my doctor said my ovaries are quiet so we can start IVF. A cervix is suppose to be soft low and open before your period comes (if my memory serves me). She just never rears her ugly head when we want her to!

My FS just called cause they took blood today and apprently my progesterone and oestrogen are high so that means I ovulated!!! On the pilll and on the ovulation suppression belly button injection.... which is almost impossible... but I did.. and that is why period never came..

she says if I get AF in next 7 days we can still go ahead otherwise we postpone to end august..

I actually feel better now now that I know...... now the worst thing is we have not Bded in like 2 weeks cause we have both been sick so we missed au natural chance as well

U know I thought I Od a few days ago.. cause i had pain.... but no EWCM... so weird... I am 1 in 30 she says that that happens too.. typical!

Oh well.. lets see if still comes next week - otherwise we wait till end of august.. an extra 2 months wont kill me

Oh my gosh! I can't believe you ovulated on BCP and ovulation suppression injections.
That is one strong body you have got there, just wait until the boys arrive. Your eggs are going to knock their socks off!!!!

I pray the witch comes today or tomorrow so you don't have to wait till August, you have done enough waiting
