Hi ladies. I recently went through IVF (in vitro fertilization) after trying to concieve for over 2 and 1/2 years. I was so happy to finally get a positive test but now I feel like it's all been taken away from me.
My hcg levels were great at week 4, 4 and 1/2 and 5 1/2 and my fertility clinic were very positive. They even took me off progesterone at 5 weeks.
I went and had ultrasound at what my clinic says is approx 7 weeks (due to ER being on the 6th of May and transfer of 5 blastocyst on the 11th May) but only measured 6 weeks 2 days. They said that they could see a faint heart beat too which I thought was positive initially until they said it was only at 80 and looked very concerned. - this was not at my clinic as we have to travel there so have another scan booked on Tuesday but man the wait it killing me I'm so stressed and upset.
If I went off my first day of last period then it wouldn't be a week behind would be 5 days.
I don't know I'm so confused and scared is there anyone else out there that has gone through IVF (in vitro fertilization) and had growth a week behind and low heart beat at first ultrasound. Is there any hope?
