i got a very fast crash course in IVF today but im left with a lot of questions.
most arent urgent, but before i choose ive over IUI id like to know if anyone here has an answer to this.
i dont normally have cycles, ever. all cycles since starting treatment have been provera induced, aside form the one cycle after a failed IUI.
i know that IVF goes across 2 menstral cycles... but, how does that work? what if you DONT get that second period? does it matter?
im afraid that ill choose IVF, and then be like twiddling my thumbs waiting and waiting for a period that never comes, and then have to stop treatment. does that happen? ( i dont think it does)
im just wondering if they just 'pretend' a cycle happened and keep going, or if they induce a cycle with provera etc. i guess i jsut wonder if they 'need' that cycle in order to proceed.
id appreciate any IVF pro's input on that!
