Jamie-Lynn Spears

I say goodluck to Jamie Lynn, I think she'll be a fantastic mum. Teen mums are only judged because many of the older generation *quite a few of my OH's family* feel that teens are only after a house. I say screw all the people and judge and do whats right and thats bring your kids up the best you can

im was 16 wen i fell pregnant im 17 now and my lo is due in october people always turn there noes up but im really not botherd if your older anough to have sex at 16 then you should be responseible anough for a baby!!!!

Yes, Lucy, I agree. I too am pregnant at sixteen and it's not made easy by the people around us. Sadly, it's a very heavilly stereotyped view on teen mums that people have - and from a few that i HAVE seen around, it's not really surprising i.e chavvy teens pushing buggies with three other kids hanging onto the sides, mother is swearing, smoking etc. But still, it is unacceptable - think of the minority who are NOT like this - who have their childs best interest at heart.

Jamie Lynn will definately NOT get it any easier because she's a celebrity - it isn't improved by the fact that her sister went so off the rails, but again, it is all, likely, to be down to badly publicised media.
Perhaps if the majority of media atleast started giving her support and other celebs a little support, there'd not be so many failures who end up burning out or in rehab.
Still, I guess that's what they get their jollies from.

Good luck to her, I say. I'm sure she'll do great. ;)
