Jan-Feb 2014 babies- when are you due?

I'm not doing a bag this time!

EPO is supposed to help ripen the cervix. I've been taking it since week 35. 1 x 1000mg orally week 35 and 36. I've been taking 2 x 1000mg for week 37. Next week I'm also going to insert one vaginally. I'm mostly trying to be a bit proactive because I didn't dilate at all last time :)

I didn't dilate either so, as you know, as I'm going for a VBAC, I feel like I should do everything possible to help my body along. Hubby says dates are yucky though- will it be worth it do you think???

The research is new and really encouraging… I'll see if I can find the link. To be honest, I hate dates but I can cope with 6 a day if it means I get my VBAC :D

Basically, it leads to greater dilation, more intact waters, less intervention and more spontaneous labour. Works for me even if they are yucky!

Might have to give them a try then! Xx

Eaten my first six dates- not as bad as first thought. Thanks for the tip. X
