Oh yay i hope i will be joining u soon too, due 15th jan
Oh man I feel like poo! Am on two lots of pain killers, one every 6 hours and one every 4-6 hours. I have plenty supply of the first, but am due to run out of the others by the end of the week and its already my second prescription so am trying to expand the length of time between taking tabs. Unfortunately the withdrawl symptoms seems to feel like I have the flu - am freezing cold and aching all over. I'm dreading when I have to come off them completely
Yay for Joe being a good boy...what does he do in the day? Does he like being cuddled a lot or happy to be left? Does he like baths? We'll all soon have our own little angels to snuggle...getting so close now
Hey girls hope u r all good! Holly is pretty good during the day, but her alto ego visits at night and she is a little terror and refuses to sleep!
TMI Warning!! I am still barely pooping and its sooooo uncomfortable! Am taking stool softeners but they aint softening anything so when I do go its excrutiating! Am getting to the point where I'm considering laxatives now, I just want it all out of me now! I can barely wee because I cant push anything out! Nice!

Hi ladies
hi everyone ,fantastic idea this is ,hope everyone and there babies( and soon to be born babies ) are doing well x i still cant believe my baby girl is here ..i cant stop being in awe of her she was meant to be born on wednesday but at 5 am on tuesday morning(exactly one week before and at same time as i had lost my plug funnily enough) i had the worst lower back pain ever ...thought maybe it was just babies head engaging more so i tried to sleep, the waves of pain kept me up tho...7 am laying down when i hear this popping sound (it was my waters so i ring the hospital and they told me to get there right away ...they hook me up to the monitor and see my contractions are strong and close so they call in the drs (it was a labour day here ) and then to put a long story short my lil one was born 9.30am weighing a very healthy 8 and half pounds which was a real shock i thought i would post it here have a happy new year ladies xo
Hi Ladies!
Thanks Sar for telling me about this link and for starting the thread!
Hope you are all well. I cant believe for some of us our babies are here!
I am getting on well, Maddie is just an absolute beauty, but the one thing that is letting me down at the moment is breast feeding. I am trying to stick with it because they say the first couple of weeks are the hardest but it is just a killer, my nipples are so painful. Still I am going to keep going, midwife came today and gave me some nipple shields which I know some women don't agree with cause it can confuse them, at least it might give me some relief for a couple of days- also am trying to express as well, so if I get too bad in the night then I can just bottle feed her that.
How is everyone coping with tiredness? I am functioning on zero, Maddie is the same as Holly Hodbert, she doesn't sleep at night, I manage to catch the odd hour or half an hour here and there but even when she is asleep for some reason I can't actually fall into a deep sleep because I am constantly watching her and checking on her to make sure she is ok. She is also quite a windy baby so makes a lot of grunting/burpy/windy noises in the night- she gets hiccups loads.
Oh well she is asleep now so I suppose I should try and get an hour!
xx
