Since some of you have posted your not-so-tiny post baby pictures I think tonight I will take some pics and post them. I was kinda scared seeing the dramatic shots of nice small bellies that I was starting to feel horrible about my flabby round belly. but since some of you have posted your pics and although i still think your looking better than me I have decided that I will take and post some of me. Thanks Ladies!!!!
 
Laura I imagine only the genetivmcally blessed will have a tight teeny weeny post pregnant none bump! Even tho I lost the weight after Corey I was walking around with a kangaroo type pouch looking tummy for months! Get your pics on love, be proud! (I will next week, a week post birth is early enough for me lol x
 
Well i decided to wait until tomorrow to take the pics. 2 weeks after birth. But I will post them...promise.
 
Naomi - not sure where I read this but maybe on here..... Have you tried a hot water bottle on the area baby is going to sleep?? Kieran sleeps between us at night so we get the hot water bottle on that spot 10 mins before we put him down so it is all nice and warm.
 
today was a much needed better day. Kieran was in much better spirits however he seems to have a blocked tear duct although that is diagnosed by google. His eye is very runny. I feel so bad for him. Going to call the public health nurse tomorrow. We have been dropping breast milk in his eye as it is supposed to help.

I managed two 3 hour naps today and feel pretty human again!! Oh and I squirted boobie milk today it actually went a few feet on front of me!!Oh the things that excite me now - burps, farts, poops, and boobie milk!
 
hey ladies. Just finished our 3am feed. Quinn seems to like to eat at 3am no matter what time his last feed was. Anyone elses baby have a prefered time fornight feeds? I have noticed this over the last 3 days he always wakes at 3am for a feed. Kinda weird.

SO I just realized that today is going to be the first day im home alone with both kids. I know it will be ok but im still a little worried at how my daughter will be knowing ill be busy with the baby and she still has needs. wish me luck! Im sure ill update as the day goes on.
 
Good luck Laura although we all know you don't need it and you'll do great!

Are you saying im fat? :haha: im only joking, good for you, im normal and im sure im not far off what most of us look like after childbirth, i dont/never have exercised.Its interesting to see what we look like after birth...go for it!
How is Quinn doing since surgery?

also just thought id share, i got my period today!!! Lovely and clotty and painful!

Speaking of it is anyone else still bleeding? I am still bleeding very lightly and it is 3.5 weeks now is that normal?

Has anyone :sex: yet?? We haven't but I'd like to get back to it soon!!

i bled for nearly 6weeks! We :sex: twice when we thought the bleeding had stopped but it started again. After this period we will get back to it, but not on any contraceptives atm either

After my daughter I bled for 5 weeks so its normal. I am not DTD until after my 6 week check up and i get on some form of BC. just not sure what to get.

What are you all planning for contraceptives? I went on the depo shot after my daughter but it caused my milk to start to dry up when she was 7 months old so im not using that again.

Sar- Quinn is doing fine since his circ. he cried when it was done and the first time I washed him but hes been fine since. Doesn't seem to be in pain or anything. I do nitice he squirms more when im washing him but think its just cuz its more sensitive now.

Cant believe my baby is 2 weeks old already!!!!!!!! He still has a bad cough mostly first thing in the morning and at night. I think i will call the dr tomorrow if its not getting better. hes had it since Thursday and its not getting better yet.

Whats the longest your babies sleep for? Quinn ate at 3am and was up on and off til 5am when i brought him in bed with me and hes been asleep since. Its now 9:30am. So he has not eaten in 5.5hours. Im going to go wake him now and feed him but I thought babies were not suppose to sleep tthat long until they are a couple months old? Please tell me how long yoru babies sleep for?
 
the absolute longest is 5hours in the night, but he is nearly 8weeks old now
 
Kieran has slept about 4 hours before.

As for birth control we will go back to using condoms again.
 
IM GONNA use the cap. dont like condoms or anthing that involves hormones
 
Quinn slept for like 6 hours the other night and then i woke him up. I usually wake him every 3-4 hours during the day and he takes about half hour to wake up enough to eat. Its such a pain in the behind. All he wants to do is sleep but i know he needs to eat regularly or else i will have problems with my supply. At his 1 weeke check up I asked the dr if i had to wake him at night still (i was setting my alarm every 3 hours) and he told me no...never wake a sleeping baby but i think he would sleep all day and night if i let him. Oh keeps saying he will wake up when hes hungry and he wont starve himself but im not so sure. I know hes suppost to eat 8-10 times a day and i dont even think he does that because it takes so long for me to wake him up. Not really sure what to do. Im going to playgroup tomorrow so i can have him weighed and hope hes atleast putting weight on....if not ill have to make sure to wake him during the night.

BTW what is the cap?????
