Jojo, I was wondering the same thing but then I remembered with Jess I only really started 'leaking' when the feeds were spaced a little further apart. I use breast pads now but they aren't nearly as full at the end of the day like when I breastfed Jess.

We had an awful night last night Mackenzie wanted to feed every hour and struggled with her winds. It's now 11:45am and she's still not happily settled. I gave her gripe water this morning. I'm exhausted today. So much for wanting to go to church. There was no way I could have been able to get done with her wanting to feed like that.

Its so funny I can now squirt milk at OH and he thinks its piss funny too he cant believe the distance it squirts

Also it squirts out in the shower quite bad! Like Jolene said, its more when they are going 3 or 4 hours in between feeds x

Jolene sounds like a rough night! Hopefully it was just a milk increase mission and she will settle better tonight! She went 3 hours this morning so at 9am I woke up to big bangers and the other one dripped a bit so feel bit better now!

Jade pmsl at you squirting your hubby, that's so cool. I wanted some leaking to put breast milk in MIL's tea, she is so annoying. I had to tell her off other day she kept telling Corey it was his baby. Course that dont help when he thinks he can pick her up like a toy and hold her whenever he wants. I had to tell her repeatedly she is a baby not a friggin doll and she is our baby not his! Stupid senile woman! X

HI ladies. Hope you are all well. I need some advise please.

The only way that I can get Bryce to settle for any nap is to let him feed, he just loves to suck! lol The only thing is, is that once he is asleep if I put him down in his moses or cot he wakes up after a few seconds. I have tried a dummy but he just keeps spitting it out and gets really grumpy until he has my boob agian! So I have started feeding him laying down on my bed and then just sneak off once he is asleep and once he has been asleep for about 30 mins I can carefully move him to his moses and he is fine.

I can't carry on doing this though surely! When do they start self soothing and should I just leave him to cry if he does wake up??? I just hate hearing him cry.

Shame, i cant believe im doing this, very embarrasing but hey! Also think im getting my period so thats prob why I look bloated,thats my excuse and im sticking to it lol

hi naomi, sorry i dont know what to suggest, how come he will sleep on your bed, how about you lay something of yours in the moses basket, something that smells of you, maybe thats why he likes your bed,cos he can smell you.

Hey ladies!

Finally got the chance to catch up. Taken ages - Toby was sleeping when I started and and hes fed through me catching up with everyone.

He's crying again now - bugger!

Lol had to stop there cos little man was screaming so had to change and feed him again! Been about an hour since I started typing hehe!

Ok was gonna say hi to everyone and know what everyone is going through with bfing. I'm sore and Toby is constantly demanding food - if we're at home! If we go out and about in the car or with the pram he sleeps lol. Jack is back at work tomorrow and I am already planning where I can go with him to keep him asleep lol!

Naomi I'm the same with Toby. He likes to fall asleep mostly latched onto me or occasionally on his daddy when hes swaddled up.

Was it lostunicorn or lovealittle1 that was having trouble with feeding? I'm right there with you hun, it is nice to know someone is growing through the same as me with constant demand and changes. Just when you think you ahve got it something changes huh?! And I also fall asleep when feeding in bed. Hormones apparently are released when you bf to help you fall back to sleep after but I find mine kick in during lol. I'm always nodding off with him on me in bed.

Hi ladies. Everyone's post pregnancy shots look great!! I will post one day when o get on my lap top but usually I just say hello from the I phone.

We had a nightmare evening with kieran the worst yet. He just would not settle. I would feed him and then as soon as he was done feeding he would start screaming and rooting again so offer more boob nutthen he wouldn't take it. This cycle went on for hours. It was horrible all 3 of us were so upset and frustrated. Kieran has even tarted making tears out of his right eye - it makes me sad to see tears coming out

oh gone to work now, gotta tell you about yesterday, OH worked rom 3am on sat morning, when he came home i was so stressed as Joe had been crying really loudly (unlike him) for about an hour. I said I was going out so I went to a cafe for something to eat and a drink, I couldnt get the crying out of my head, I had tinnitus from it lol.
Anyway, sitting in the cafe and get a text from OH saying joe still crying...........yeah and!!! what do you want me to do about it? so i ignored the text, ffs i dont text him everytime. And its the first time ive been out without him, well ok the 2nd.
When I got back OH was super stressed and said he couldnt cope!!! Well thanks for that I feel loads better for leaving him with you now, but in all fairness i think its cos he was working and was tired. but at least he knows what i have to deal with.
He got up this morning and i had a lay in til 8.30. He looked after Joe while i took my older son to the golf driving range and to the cafe for a milkshake and a bite to eat. Joe was a lot happier today.
He is sleeping again and driinkiing loads of milk so I think he is having a growth spurt.

Lovealittle I know how you feel its heartbreaking isnt it. x

Wow had a busy day shopping. Had succesful feeding while out and bought lots of new clothes for the boys. N is getting stocke dup on the size he should be and J needed some smalled clothes. Had a great experience in Mamas and Papas had to take some things back that shrunk and they happily exchanged the goods for something different. Was gutted as they were lovely outfits too.

Got myself a stock of fenugreek too as I found it really helped me have massive milk supplies and I need to feed 2 so im starting that tonight.

Naomi Jacob is similar with the comfort suckling and i've found most times if I feed nappy change and feed again he seems stuffed and sleeps. It just doesn't work during the hours 1-4am

Naomi, I also find Mackenzie sleeps better on my bed. It's amazing how they just know, lol. It's also your body heat and heartbeat that soothes them and then when you pick them up and they stir, they realise you aren't there anymore. I'm sure you'll figure out something soon. Where there's a will, there's a way, haha.
