July Testers-Fun, Sun and POAS! 13 BFP!

Bug, I know right! darn speculum! The OB lied all the time when she kept saying that it's only going to make you feel uncomfortable. Yeah...I don't consider painful as uncomfortable.

I can handle the papsmear. It's the pricking of my finger I hated. Now they don't do it because insurance companies didn't like paying for it. Lol

Darn insurance company!! Not saying that I like giving blood or have my finger pricked...but still. Darn insurance company!

Confuzion :hugs: it is completely understandable why you are so guarded during early pregnancy. I can't imagine what you are going through but please know that every day I think of you & send possitive vibes your way.

N.Miller - glad to hear your tubes are free & clear!!! That is great news! Also glad to hear that the procedure didn't leave you too uncomfortable.

Macy- Are you talking about getting your Pap Smear? If you haven't gotten it in a while than I would suggestin scheduling (it's a routine service & with Obamacare you don't even pay a co-pay for that anymore) and while you are there & have your Dr's attention you can talk to them about the fact that you are TTC, let him/her know how many cycles you have been trying & any other useful info you can give them. They should - at the very least - give you a few mins of their time to discuss what you can do to improve your odds possibly, how long they think you should wait to make an appt if your not succesful, etc. When I went for my yearly I made sure to talk to my Dr during the whole procedure about TTC...lol!!! And he told me that if we don't get pregnant after 6/mo all I have to do is call in & he will schedule an SA for my DH because he feels I have "proven" fertility because I have children but my DH does not have any children so he wants to check him out first. It made me feel good to have a potential plan of action in the not so far off future :)

Twinkie - How are you feeling today?? Getting lots of BD in?!?! It's almost O time lady!!!!!! :wohoo:

ILT - where are you in your cycle? Will you O soon as well?!

PAP SMEAR. Ahhh it even sounds horrid. Lol. Thank you gals for the mutual dislike :)

Tomatoes- the only other time we have TTC was with the m/c. We got a BFP our first month trying. I am realizing now how lucky we were. I was sort of expecting the same thing to happen this time. It seems like a very long wait indeed seeing as I was ready to try again as soon as the doctor said it was ok which was as soon as I got my first post D&C AF. DH however needed time...a lot of time...oh, and I cant remember if someone asked (Im on my phone and the mobile version of this site is...not awesome ha) but I am 23, 24 in Oct..DH is 25 in Dec of this year :)

ah i c- we don't do any type of bloodwork with ours here! Just the "fun" stuff lol- pap, breast exam

Deal, I am only CD 11. So 5 more days. How are you doing? Still no AF?? :D :D :D

Macy, I was the one who asked about your age :). Usually, they want you to try for 1 year first before seeing them. I'd do what Deal suggested and visit the OB. Btw, you can switch your view on your phone to desktop version. It's much easier to see.

N.miller so glad your tubes are clear! When I went for my sono a couple weeks back when they put the liquid in I found it to be incredibly uncomfortable. He had to give me a small break before he went to the other side. The dye went through but I'm hoping that maybe that gave them the extra cleaning lol. Very interesting too about the positive opk.

ILT it does feel like forever waiting to O sometimes!

Confuzion big hugs to you. It'll be such a relief I think once you see your specialist in July.

Deal- any sign of af?? I'm still holding out hope for you! Though love your lp getting longer!

Macy I had a dnc as well a year and a half ago. And like oyu we got pregnant so quickly we weren't even trying. Now I'm desperate for it and no sign of a bfp! I'm 36 so I tried hardcore for 6 months before taking it further. It's been a bit of a process though. 2 month wait to get in and then another 2 months to find out why I'm not getting pregnant again.

Bug222 we get blood here with the physical. Actually they recently changed the pap smear to once every 3 years rather than yearly.

Twinkie must be busy bd'ing;)

Macy I also wanted to say I was worried as well about the dnc since it's taking me a while now to get pregnant but I don't think it had anything to do with it. I think I just got lucky once and now that I want it so much I have to work for it!

Lynny, maybe it's a little afternoon delight for Twinkie heheheh :p. Wait, aren't you in your TWW now? Testing anytime soon??? :D

lol ILT- Twinkie's going to giggle when she logs on. And yup I'm 9dpo now. All the usual suspect symptoms. I may break down and test this weekend just to alleviate the crazies. I have some expired ic's still hanging about lol. Frantic toilet paper check starts tomorrow since one cycle I started spotting dpo10. It's the worst!

Lynny, the last few days of TWW are the hardest! If POAS can help w/ the TWW, then do it :). I found that after I pee on a stick a couple times and just kept seeing stark white sticks, I got tired and tried to assure myself that AF was on her way. Most of the time, I was right unfortunately. I kept telling myself that I wouldn't symptoms spots or get my hopes up. But seriously, who am I kidding? I will symptoms spots and I will get my hopes up. :)

Ahh ok Im sorry I was getting confused. But now I figured out how to switch to desktop! Hooray! :happydance:
That every 3 years thing is awesome! So Im not even overdue yet! I probably should go though, you guys are right. Just gotta suck it up, nobody likes it!
Thanks for all advice...seriously! It's good to know other people have.experienced similar situations and can relate!

 you ladies are cracking me up! I wish it was some afternoon delight! Although I did try, but DH wasn't in the mood-probably because we had work to do, he said later, bit of a downer. Hoping to have some fun later though!

Twinkie hopefully you get some good bd in soon. We are all rooting for you! lol

Macy I know this forum is so great for that. My sisters both had trouble conceiving and they get it but unless you're there in the moment it's not the same. I stopped texting them about it just before af. It just got too much with af coming month after month. Hopefully my time will come again!

ILT it is such a rollercoaster and every month I'm like- yeah I'm going to be cool. I don't expect it. After a certain amount of months of it not happening you almost feel silly for getting your hopes up. And every month I get my hopes up. Sigh. What a rollercoaster!

Oh lynny, did you ever just hit the nail on head!

Not sure who asked if I'd be testing early and my original plan was no wait til AF was due, but then the dr said to come in asap after getting a bfp so that I can get started on progesterone, so I'll likely start around 10dpo, as I believe that's the soonest I'd see anything. AF is due July 3/4 so I'm hoping if this is our cycle I can get the bfp by the 3rd and squeeze in before the fourth holiday otherwise I'd have to wait until the 7th and I'm terrified of that!

I will be joining here now,

I'm not going hard this month, but I will be trying low aspirin . baby asprin doesnt seem to be available in australia. to hopefully help implantation, as I think I might have a problem with it. This is the second time while TTC that I have had amazing symptoms and run late with AF, but then a horrible AF cycle..

Good luck to all ladies in July.

So I'm officially in the 2ww and am 1DPO:happydance:

I'm going to avoid symptom spotting this month since it always ends in disappointment:( So unless I get something more sure, like the strong metal taste I got during my chemical, I'm just going to assume I'm not pregnant. It just makes things easier and if I am, it'll be a nice surprise:thumbup:

By the way DH still hasn't heard from our GP about his :spermy: test:nope: It's been a while so we're going to call him Monday and find out why it's taking so long:dohh:
