Better late then never, eh? I'm just updating that Éowyn showed up on July 4th (just like DH wanted) weighing in at 8 lbs 15 oz. The birth did not go as planned....we were supposed to be in a birth center and have a natural/water birth but went into active labor and she never dropped so didn't progress at all. On top of that I got severely dehydrated because after 24 hours of active labor (and no progress) I couldn't keep down any water. I ended up with an epidural, pitocin and vacuum assisted birth in the end I will have to write a birth story when I have the chance!

But the end result was absolutely perfect!
