Thanks I have been ITCHY!!! I have PUPPPs Not happy with midwife because ive texted (she always says its better to text because she cant answer the phone whilst with patients) asking to see her so I can get some antihistamines or steroid creams or something because i'm covered....she hasn't replied I'll ring her later if she doesn't hurry up!!!
I'm confined to bedroom at the moment lol, really cant bear wearing clothes lol!
The worst thing is is that my mum has only just learnt to knock before coming in, for the last few days not only have I had the discomfort of this itchy stingy rash covering me from head to toe (ok well neck to toe lol!) but i've also had to put up with my mum basically bursting in on me every half hour whilst im lying there butt naked haha!!! They say dignity goes out the door when you give birth but I beg to differ, mine has already packed it's bags and left lol!
I live 45 mins away from hospital .... think I might try ringing her in a minute as I know she usually see's patients from 8-12 then has lunch.... not sure whether she's working at the doctors today or whether she's on active midwife duty. If it's the second then maybe that's why she's not getting back to me lol!
Emerald looking forward to seeing you in 3rd tri!!! xx
No specific known cause but most things i've read say that it's just bodies reaction to the skin stretching. Not sure why the rash would spread all the way to my fingertips and toes though lol! Other websites say that it's caused by an allergic reaction to boy hormones/dna as 70% deliver boys but I wonder what would cause the other 30% of people to get it as they wouldn't have any boy DNA
