Just finished Provera, waiting for AF so I can start my first round of Clomid

roosav- may be a good idea to give up OPKs, after a while it is just a constant reminder that your body is not doing what you want it to. Are you going to up the dose of Clomid?

Wifey- So sorry you are not getting the results you want. IVF is incredibly expensive....are you going to up the dose of Clomid?

I got a second opinion with a new OBGYN and i decided to switch providers. Basically I am going to start a progesterone withdrawal next week so I can finally start clomid.

Good news here too!! Since this is my second round of clomid in one cycle, re said I'm basically CD10 - today's scan was a 16mm on my R ovary!!! Woohoo!! He said this is exactly what he was hoping to see, that it looks like I'm right on track to O tomorrow or Friday. I'm going back in on Friday for a scan and trigger shot!! He said I might O on my own tomorrow so BD just in case, but I hope I don't O and can utilize the trigger. I feel like I'll have a better chance if I use the trigger shot. Sooo insanely relieved and happy. Even if I get bfn this cycle, i have found a clomid dose that works for me and I can try it a few more times. DH had a perfect SA so I'm hoping this is it!

Roo, any + opk yet? My CB digi still says negative, which is odd to me if I could possibly o tomorrow I should've had a flashing smiley. I wouldn't stress over the opks, they're so unreliable I think. I hope this cycle works out for you and you get those two lines soon! If this dose doesn't work, 100mg definitely might. I felt like a total failure and like dirt when I didn't respond to 50mg. I didn't think increasing the dose would work but it did! Don't lose hope. Hope to hear from you soon!

Can't wait for you to start the Chinese clomid, 2? I'm excited to hear how it goes and how it makes you feel!

AFM- I'll be doing my cd 3 blood work and ultrasound tomorrow and if all goes well, I'll also start clomid tomorrow evening

No O yet for me. The Chinese herbs tasted like dirt and haven't seem to do anything. If I haven't ovulated by next Wednesday I am starting a progesterone withdrawal Thursday.

Awesome!! I hope you respond to it perfectly without many side effects. I had little response/almost no side effects on 50 mg. On 100mg I've had ALL the listed side effects lol but its been effective!! Best wishes to you, sweetie! So exciting!

Hi all! I haven't been on lately I started a new job last week so I've been pretty distracted with that which is good. I never did get a positive ok so I gave up taking them all together and don't think I will use them again. Didn't get 21 day blood work so have no idea if i ovulated or not. I had all the symptoms so I'm not sure how it's possible that I never I have been feeling really good lately. Today is cycle day 28 so Af should be here soon but if I didn't o I guess it will be provera again by day 40. So hard to stay hopeful!

You should definitely temp next cycle (I forgot if you are or not) and do a 21 day progesterone blood draw to confirm O. Hang in there!

Started my progesterone yesterday, was a few days before the doc told me to but I figured since it was an arbitrary date I might as well just do it a little early. I asked my new OBGYN about doing a 5 day progesterone vs 10 day. He said the difference is that the 10 day mimics more closely the luteal phase of your cycle which makes sense.

As for me I finished progesterone last Tuesday, I am expecting my withdrawal to start tomorrow as I have had sore breasts for a couple of days now. I had a diagnostic u/s last week. I have a 2.5 cm cyst on my right ovary, the tech was unable to see my left ovary as it was being blocked by my bowels (awesome). I have a meeting with my OB on tuesday morning to discuss if it will be safe for me to continue with Clomid this cycle due to the cyst. Fingers crossed I get the green light.

I finished my first round of Clomid 2 days ago. I am now doing OPKs, temping and my saliva microscope and keeping my fingers crossed that I ovulate. I also have two acupuncture sessions scheduled for this week.

I haven't been on in so long because I couldn't remember my password and I wouldn't ever get the password reset link!

How is everybody doing? I just wanted to fill you all I that I got my BFP on May 7th! I am currently 19 weeks +5! I was in complete shock. I had just finished my provera the previous Monday and my period still hadn't showed up by Friday which was weird because usually by day 3 after my last pill I have started. Saturday morning I got up and went shopping and just picked up a test to see. When I get home I took the test and saw one big fat line show up, frustrated I threw the test in the trash and went on about my day. An hour later I went back to the bathroom to get ready and I happened to look down into the trash and saw two lines on the test. I called out to DH and asked if this could be possible, the line was very faint and it was over an hour so I wasn't sure if it was true reading. I took another test but had just peed so just a dribble got on the test but it was a very faint positive. We rushed out to the store and bought three more packs in different brands. They all came out faint positive then we used the digital brand and it came out pregnant 1-2 weeks!! I cried I was so happy!

This all happened the first month at my new job, I believe I was not getting pregnant because I was so unhappy at my old job. I was a different person once I started my new job, so happy! Then I started my provera to start my second round of clomid, we agreed that would be our last time with the pills because it was too hard on my body and my emotions I was a wreck. The week after my last provera pill I was super nauseous extremely tender breasts and cramping. I blamed it all on the pills but I was actually pregnant

I was completely convinced I would never get pregnant, then when I finally told myself if happens it happens but if it doesn't I'm not going to let trying to conceive take over my life like it has in the past. My new job turned my life around and I was 100% happy for the first time in a long time. It was meant to be
