Thank you so much for all of your replies.....it does help to know that I'm not over-reacting to this!

My midwife (who is so wonderful, and is on my side 100%) has tried & tried & tried to get this sorted for me - she has gone to so many different people, but keeps getting the same answer.........that I can't go, because this is my 2nd child.

I think that making a formal complaint would be the only way to go, but.....I know this probably sounds so pathetic........I just don't have the strength. I'm finding things so hard, I'm constantly worried about this baby & spend so much time being so upset.......and I don't know if I can try & fight this.....
