So...my husband and I were driving to a movie, and got rear ended while waiting to turn. It wasn't overly hard, but it did compress my stomach and made me go oof. Now I'm cramping, and desperately trying to reassure myself that babies are tough and well protected in the womb. Luckily, I do have an appointment already set for tomorrow, and will ask for an ultrasound or something to make sure the baby is okay. I may be a bit of a mess until then, though. Ugh. Just feeling a bit shaken, is all. Sorry for the long ramble.

Don't worry about the rant. Thankfully you have hour appt set! Any mum would be worried after an accident, however small. Try to relax & drink enough water to ease your cramps. Take care!

I hope everything is okay! If you continue having cramps, have contractions or can't feel the baby kick I'd get checked even sooner possibly.

Thank you all for the kind words and support! Went in yesterday, and had a bad moment when the dr couldn't find a heartbeat on doppler, but then she did an ultrasound, and we saw baby waving at us and doing just fine. Phew! So very relieved. I'm still cramping a bit, but dr said that's normal after a trauma like that, and that it's nothing to worry about. The little sprout is well protected, especially right now at just 16 weeks. So very, very thankful that everything is okay, and for you ladies and your encouragement. :)
