I'd honestly recommend really researching what you what and then going for it....even if it does cost a bit more.
We bought the Jane Pro Slalom system with my first daughter....again at about £600. Most of my friends thought we were mad as they were paying £200-£300 for their prams. Thing is...most of them are on their 2nd or 3rd prams/buggies now....and I still love my Jane and can't wait to put use it for my new little baby again!
You get what you pay for IMO and I know a lot of people who ahve been unhappy with the 'cheaper' versions, as they have lost something!
I personally think I'd rather go for a good-condition second-hand one than a cheap quality brand new one.
