I took my last pill 8 days ago and should have restarted the pill today but we have now decided to ttc, I have bought some ovulation test kits, is there any point in doing one within the next few days... or is that just being silly. Only I've heard of people getting pregnant right away after stopping the pill and I'm impatient and would love to know when/if I'm ovulating this cycle!!

Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I don't think it hurts! If you don't you might wonder down the line if you missed an early ovulation. You might be one of those lucky women whose body goes back to normal immediately 
Just try to be realistic. I'm currently CD26 first cycle off the pill and I got my hopes up early. But I'm keeping up with the OPKs until I O or AF!
