Just when I started to have hope....

Had my 3rd round of clomid this cycle and my control scan was today. I was soooo hopefull as I had responded ok over the last 2 cycles and also dh had a improved sperm result - not great but improved none the less (78mil, 30% motility). I really thought my FS was going to scan all was well and go off and make a baby (IYKWIM), but she didnt, I havent responded at all this month, had nothing, and she said dh sperm still wasnt good and therefore we are now sat on the IVF waiting list.

I thought IVF was going to be a year down the line if we still havent had any success in the mean time, not now, I really dont know if i am strong enough for it.

I can't offer any advice about clomid but I just wanted to say that it may not seem like it at the moment but this is a positive thing. I was devstated when they told us we were unlikely to conceive naturally but now I'm so excited about the treatment. We're still trying while we wait but now we have a real chance at having a baby.

We all have romantic ideas of how our baby will be conceived and I certainly never imagined it would be in a lab!! but if this is how it has to be then so be it...Think of the amazing little person you will have at the end of it all.
